Tessa Mazler is a seasoned development professional with more than 15 years of experience in the nonprofit and higher-education sectors.

Before joining UCLA Samueli, Mazler was the Senior Director of Major Gifts at the UCLA Anderson School of Management, where she secured donations totaling more than $25 million for the institution. Prior to UCLA Anderson, she was Regional Director of Major Gifts for UCLA, working with alumni from across campus to connect them to their philanthropic interests throughout the university. Mazler launched her development career at Make-A-Wish Greater Los Angeles, where she worked with individual donors and put on large-scale events to raise money to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions.

Mazler earned her bachelor’s degree in international development studies with minors in French and anthropology from UCLA and her master’s degree in public administration from USC.
