Introducing our Inaugural National Chair
We’re thrilled to announce Asad Madni ’69, M.S. ’72 as the Inaugural National Chair of the 2024 Bruin Engineers Reunion! Madni is an alumnus, distinguished adjunct professor of electrical and computer engineering, and the winner of many prestigious awards, including the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Medal of Honor and most recently, election to the National Inventors Hall of Fame. Madni brings to this year’s reunion a legacy of excellence, lighting the way for an unforgettable event for our returning Bruin Engineers!
In honor of his 55th milestone reunion, Madni celebrated his legacy with a gift of $25K to champion the success of Bruin Engineers.

Who is invited?
Where will the Bruin Engineers Reunion be held?
The 2024 Bruin Engineers Reunion activities will take place on the UCLA Campus predominately within the Engineering VI building, although there will be walking tours of related locations available, we encourage attendees to wear comfortable shoes.
Where can I stay if I am coming from out of town?
Discounted room rates are available at the UCLA Meyer & Renee Luskin Center (directly across from Engineering VI). To receive our discounted room rate, please contact UCLA Meyer & Renee Luskin Center directly at (855) 522-8252 and ask for the “School of Engineering Rate” or book online here and use code “ENGEE” to receive our discounted room rate.
