Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and in keeping with the latest public health guidelines, the fall quarter courses will be offered almost entirely through remote instruction, with the exception of limited graduate research and some senior capstone projects. Nonetheless, the faculty has been working hard to ensure the courses will be as comprehensive, immersive and inclusive as possible under the circumstances.
Dean Murthy highlighted that many great opportunities await our students, noting the school’s excellence in research across a broad range of fields critical to the 21st century. She also emphasized the importance of a supportive and inclusive culture in the UCLA Samueli community, prior to giving a special welcome to new international students and those from underrepresented minority groups.
