About this hybrid event

This is the second annual Women in STEM: Breaking Barriers summit aiming to break socioeconomic, generational and discipline specific barriers that women in STEM face. The event itself looks at three different points in one’s career: high school/GED, undergrad/graduate school, and post-grad professional, and helps individuals gain the tools that they need to develop both personally and professionally. The summit was created by both undergraduate and graduate students, from a variety of different backgrounds and fields, looking at issues that have emerged as they move forward in their own professional careers.

The conference will be taking place April 7 & 8, 2022. All events will have a remote option. Some networking events may be held in-person on the UCLA campus depending on public health guidelines.

Attending the entire conference is not a requirement to register! You can pick which events you want to attend, whether they are on the same day or not. A full schedule will be available on our social media pages and our website.
