RESEARCH AND INTERESTS
My research focuses on the design, processing, and characterization of architectured titanium-based materials with heterogeneous microstructures. I investigate how microstructural topology, phase connectivity, and interface engineering influence deformation and mechanical performance under extreme loading conditions. My interests also include thin-layered heterogeneous materials and interface-controlled phenomena in metallic multilayers. My work combines powder metallurgy, HIP processing, and advanced electron microscopy (SEM, EBSD, TKD, and TEM) to establish microstructure–property relationships for lightweight structural applications.
