Daniel S. Levi, MD is an Interventional Pediatric Cardiologist who has served on the UCLA Pediatrics faculty since 2003 and is a Professor at the UCLA School of Medicine. His primary clinical role involves the use of catheters and devices to help children with congenital heart disease. As the Director of the Pediatric Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, Dr. Levi is the active on a daily basis in pediatric catheter based procedures. He routinely performs ASD, VSD, and PDA closures in addition to stent placement, valvuloplasties, angioplasties and even transcatheter valve replacements in both children and adults with congenital heart disease. He is internationally known for his laboratory and clinical research. He is also the director of the adult congenital interventional catheterization program and is a member of the pediatric heart transplantation team.
