Marianne So, P.E. ’07, MBA ’17

Marianne So, P.E., BSME ’07, MBA ’17 currently serves as a mechanical engineer at the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) in downtown LA and is responsible for creating the system architecture of the treatment facilities serving the city’s 4 million residents and focused on pilot studies to vet new technology for improving Water Quality. Before joining the LADWP, she developed Air Management Systems as a Principal Engineer in the Chief Technology Office at Honeywell Aerospace. She has 16 years of engineering experience in the public and private sectors specializing in trade studies to optimize system design.

Marianne currently serves as an industry advisor to UCLA’s MAE Department and previously served as president of EAA.
