Liz Pace (then Liz Lopez) graduated from UCLA with a bachelor’s in computer science and engineering and started her career McDonell Douglas working launch vehicle. Liz is currently responsible for managing the partnership with NASA for the Subsonic Flight Demonstrator (SFD) technology development program. Previously, she was the Executive Director for Boeing Global Services Commercial Modifications providing engineering design solutions to operators of Boeing aircraft. Liz has led both Engineering and Program Management senior roles in commercial and government programs.

While at UCLA, Liz was an active member of the Society of Latino Engineers (SOLES) championing her beliefs in promoting diversity in STEM. Since graduating, Liz has been advocating STEM across Boys and Girls clubs and sponsored a First Robotics team for several years, combining her engineering and industry expertise to mentor future engineers.
