Joselito (Joey) Lao, M.S. ’18 has over 30 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, information technology and supply chain. He retired from Johnson and Johnson in 2022 after 20 years with the company. Prior to joining Johnson & Johnson, Joey worked as a technology consultant implementing IT enterprise systems for various corporations. He also held engineering and management roles at Hitachi (consumer electronics), JBL (speaker manufacturer), Fujant (telecommunications startup), iSupply (e-commerce) and Haworth (office furniture manufacturer).

Joey received his masters of engineering degree from UCLA and his bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Cal Poly, Pomona. He currently teaches in the master of engineering program at UCLA Samueli.
