Isabelle (Mieling) Maxwell ’15

Isabelle (Mieling) Maxwell ’15 holds a B.S. in Bioengineering from UCLA and an M.S. in Computational Biology and Quantitative Genetics from Harvard University. As an alumna, she actively supports the UCLA Engineering community through mentorship and alumni engagement, serving as an alumni mentor to several students and member of the UCLA Bioengineering Alumni Advisory Board.

As a student at UCLA, Isabelle was deeply involved in campus leadership and outreach. She served as President of the Engineering Ambassador Program, Mentorship and Industry Chair of the Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES), and Bruin Ambassador for Undergraduate Admission. In her role as President of the Engineering Ambassador Program, she worked closely with the UCLA Samueli Office of Academic and Student Affairs (OASA) to organize and lead tours for prospective students, alumni, and donors. Isabelle is passionate about giving back to the UCLA Engineering community, strengthening the UCLA Engineering alumni network, and advancing opportunities for future generations of Bruins.
