SOU 300, a Beijing-based firm specializing in search engines for mobile devices, has made a gift of 30,000 shares in company stock to the UCLA Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science. The gift recognizes the work of electrical engineering professor Lei He, who is director of the school’s Clean Energy Research Center. The center researches ways to improve the transmission and storage of energy, including methods for improving sustainable energy sources for mobile devices.
