Eddie Shek M.S. ’92, Ph.D. ’97 is Principal at Interna, a technology consultancy focused on helping companies make product management and engineering more effective. He has extensive hands-on experience leading full-cycle software product development, large-scale SaaS solution deployments, data and business intelligence, corporate IT operations, and professional services in fast-growth environments in a variety of industries. Eddie has co-founded and served as CTO of Vizional and TrackX (supply chain logistics and industrial Internet-of-Things). He has served as VP Engineering at MagicLinks (social media commerce), CTO at Proxi (local delivery and fulfillment), CTO at Comfreight (digital freight factoring and payment processing), and CTO at Ready Education (higher-education student experience).

Eddie received his master’s and doctoral degrees in computer science from UCLA and his bachelor’s degree (summa cum laude) in computer science from Stony Brook University. He is the immediate past-president of EAA, board member of the Stony Brook University Alumni Association, and member of the Stony Brook University School of Engineering and Applied Science Dean’s Council. He is a founding member of, and mentor at, the LA CTO Forum.
