Jamal Madni is Head of Engineering Strategy for Boeing Defense, Space & Security, driving strategic optimizations across people, processes, tools and technologies for the 20,000-member organization.

In addition to his technical responsibilities, Madni created several of Boeing’s employee-engagement initiatives including the Rosen Games, the da Vinci Summit and the Mentoring On-Rotation Experience.

Madni co-owns the Los Angeles Fan Base (LAFB) Network, which is one of Southern California’s fastest growing digital sports content platforms. He also serves on the board of the UCLA Foundation, Climate Rights International and startups such as CBB Analytics, Akasha Imaging and Wedj.

A double Bruin, Madni has two master’s degrees in electrical and biomedical engineering, respectively, from the UCLA Samueli School of Engineering. He received the school’s 2021 Rising Engineering Professional Achievement Award. He also has a master’s in business management from Stanford Graduate School of Business where he graduated as a Robert Joss Scholar.
