David Doami ’86 currently serves as Director of Northrop Grumman’s MilSatCom Operating Unit, where he assumes P&L responsibility for the capture and execution of MilSatCom programs for the USSF/SSC. His focus is on ensuring mission success through the delivery of robust and reliable high-performance systems. David has held a variety of roles with increasing responsibility over several decades since joining Northrop Grumman. This includes executive leadership roles in engineering, production, business development, program management and technology development. David’s prior assignment was as the Director of the Electronic Payloads and Integrating Technologies Directorate where he more than tripled the value of customer sponsored R&D.

David earned his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from UCLA and his master’s degree in electrical engineering from USC. He participates in a variety of professional and community organizations and also serves on the UCLA Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Department’s Alumni Advisory Board.
