UCLA’s high-tech clean room facilities are getting some state-of-the-art upgrades.
The cleanrooms, specialized laboratories where the air is free from dust and other particles, will be getting new fabrication equipment. The upgrade will also combine two cleanrooms to create the UCLA Nanofabrication Laboratory. The UCLA Nanolab is a partnership between the UCLA Samueli School of Engineering’s Nanoelectronics Research Facility and the California NanoSystems Institute.
The ongoing upgrades are due to be completed in 2022. To learn more about the upgrades, please click here for an article on UCLA Newsroom.
