Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences Pioneer Kuo-Nan Liou Kuo-Nan Liou, a UCLA
distinguished professor of atmospheric and oceanic sciences, and
mechanical and aerospace engineering, died March 20, 2021, at his home
in Los Angeles after a brief illness. He was 77.
